Obviously this is quite a heavily serious topic to write about, but it does indicate the immediate relevance of TKAM in our society today. Here in the photo is a car driven by a white nationalist who drove through a protest, with deliberate intent to harm those in the "anti-facist" group of the protest. It shows the the man, like some of the characters in the book, made no attempt to reconcile his views with these people but instead immediately descend into violence purely based off of the both the skin colour and political views of these people. It's truly trasgic and hard to look at, but it still shows we havent really developed far from some of the racism that was present in the 1930's.
